I got to go out with the surveillance patrol in the marine park and they caught some people illegally pull net fishing, luckily their nets were then confiscated but after a lot of large coral heads had been caught up in the net!! very sad, but also interesting to see this side of things too. I managed to untangle this piece of coral from the net while we were on site and this was then returned to the water. There were a lot of other species living in this coral, like this crab seen in the photo.
