That Monday morning thing

Monday morning is always a busy day.  Anything put off because it was a Friday, and probably because it just wasn't that interesting (progress reports anyone?) and then left over the weekend in replacement of other work, suddenly becomes a big to-do for the Monday.  Monday is a productive day, even now with me doing a PhD and being self managed from a remote home office location, (so traditional office hours do not really matter, its work all different hours), I find that Monday is the day to get things done, and start the week well.

What is a better tea then, for a busy working day, and after a Christmas season party weekend than a cup of detox tea.  Filled with weird and wonderful things to make you feel better, this is a good tea.  Some detox teas taste rubbish, almost like dirty bathwater but this one, although not a proper cuppa, it is a useful and refreshingly feel good tea.

I drank my cup this afternoon in the hammock while reading through some recent research on my Ipad (yes, you really can work in a hammock, honestly!) and I do feel refreshed.  Perhaps offices should get hammocks for a break away from the hard back chairs.  A thinking hammock, or a reading hammock - it has to be more productive than being at the desk with emails pinging, people calling, and paperwork all around, that's for sure.    Just 30 mins in the afternoon and all those ideas will be there, and then you can return to your desk and produce amazing things!  Well, that is what I am about to attempt just now.

Enjoy your cup of tea and thinking time today!
