Afternoon tea of wisdom....perhaps

Cream of Earl Grey was the tea of the day today. After a morning of writing this was a lovely afternoon drink of black tea with bergamot, cornflowers and marigolds. Tea break in the garden was a nice break away from my computer today. This tea is named after Earl Grey, a British prime minister in the 19th century. A lot of the UK has snow right now, so I thought about that out in my garden, in the sun!

Words of wisdom from my tea mug. If you have spent too long at your desk today....take a tea break!

But now, back to writing and from the depths of my laptop, perhaps I will be able to make sense of the debates surrounding closed areas, marine protected areas, fishers, livelihoods, conservation and more......or maybe it will take another cup of tea and a think!

  1. Hey Kate!
I was sipping DT salted caramel black tea this morning in the hours before the sun was even up, here in snowy Saskatchewan, and thinking of you and your post yesterday.
I'll live vicariously through you during this long cold winter :)

  2. that sounds great Jen, I loved the salted caramel one, very different. Hope your move wasn't too stressful, and you are settling in, good luck with that Canadian snow!
