Another day and another tea behind the advent window, today it was salted caramel. Not the best present in the morning, a salty tea, must be a North American thing! But I tried it and it was quite nice, a black tea mixed with English toffee (good taste), caramel, coconut and sea salt. Bizarre, but actually quite good.
It is perhaps ironic then that as I spend the day writing about closed areas and their use for marine conservation and fisheries that I drink tea with sea salt in it! Well, If I cannot swim in the sea today, I guess drinking sea salt tea may be an interesting compromise.
Little pots of joy... In the UK, the government recently did a happiness survey on what makes people happy. I'm sure little pots of surprise tea each day could well be one of them. Perhaps the government could post people surprise packages of tea, that would be lovely.
(Photo by Tracey Strauch) And being in the sea, that should also be on the happy list, but perhaps the North Sea, or the North Atlantic may not make everyone as happy as being in the sea in The Bahamas, unless of course, dry suits make you happy...and 5mm gloves, hoods, and the instant clock hand warmers for after, they are pretty nice. And exploring the marine realm is always fun, just the amount of equipment you may need might not be!
That's it, I'm rambling off track, must go and write something constructive!
hope everyone enjoys their day with a good cup of tea, and perhaps a nice swim in the sea!
